GINNY TOBIASSEN
Rev. Ginny Hege Tobiassen was born in Winston-Salem and grew up Moravian. After graduating from UNC-CH (where she is rumored to have danced with the Apple Chill Cloggers), she worked for 25 years as an editor in book publishing, then surprised herself by enrolling in the School of Divinity at Wake Forest and eventually returning to Salem as the pastor of Home Moravian Church.
DAVID PINER
Born in Winston-Salem, David graduated from Reynolds High School, and earned BA and MA degrees from Washington and Lee and UNC-Chapel Hill. David retired in 2017 as President/CEO of Arbor Acres after 32 years of service to that organization. He has seen first hand the impact Dancing Classrooms has on young students not only by teaching them the art of dance, but also by instilling values associated with civility and healthy relationships. David believes in the mission of Take the Lead NC, the principal funding source for Dancing Classrooms, and delights in demonstrating his support by dancing in TTL 2020.
