BRAD PITTS Brad Pitts is a graduate of Wake Forest University, a former Wake Cheerleader, and a proud Demon Deacon to the extent he bleeds black and gold. He grew up in Maryland but has lived in the Winston-Salem area for over 25 years. Helping others is one of his greatest passions, and he is able to fulfill his desire to help others, not only in his work as a Financial Advisor at Merrill Lynch but also through his volunteer work at his church and through his membership with Sertoma. His favorite place to be is outside – exercising, working on projects in the yard, or spending time with his wonderful wife, Tara and two beautiful daughters (ages 10 and 14) taking family trips to explore National Parks. Brad’s passion for helping others, especially children, inspired him to be a part of Taking the Lead NC. Always a cheerleader at heart, Brad is excited for the opportunity to channel his athletic ability and to show off his dance moves through this special event. Supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters is a way to give back and give thanks for the many mentors he had along the way. He especially would like to honor his late business partner and friend, Butch Pegram through his participation in this great event.


ERYN WHITE has been a native of Pfafftown for 40+ years, and started dancing at age 11 at UNCSA. She continued her training at Baylin Dance studio, in jazz, tap and ballet. Eryn has taught dance at Baylin and Fred Astaire Dance studios and has been a certified Personal Trainer for Rush Fitness. She has been a Teaching Artist for Dancing Classrooms/Take the Lead NC since 2011. Eryn is “taking the lead to help children in need” because she firmly believes in the Dancing Classrooms program that teaches fifth graders self-confidence and pride thru ballroom dancing.
